Hello,

We will have a *big* ROOTS-party in our school at 15.00 GMT on Thursday 19 April. There will be 100+ students from grade 6A, 7A, 7B and 7C. The parents are of course invited and the students will during the party do folk music and dances. Many different foods will be offered, foods that our kids have prepared these last weeks. See the photos coming up on our "International cook book page" at http://www.netg.se/~lovgarde/projects/wai/roots/recipes

I think we are 6 hours behind you here now in Maryland but on April 1st we push our clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Savings Time. Then we will be GMT -4. Are you GMT +1 always? I cannot remember.

Oh yes, we have DST too and will be GMT+2 at that time.

We end school at 2:55 PM. If your students are ready for IRC at 7 PM your time we could meet then. I will see what we can arrange. That would be fun! Can anyone else join us?

This is important, I haven't talked about it yet with my colleagues but a suggested chat between 15 and 17 GMT could maybe be done. And our kids parents could maybe come at 16.30 GMT to see some of the chat.

It would be great if many of yours could do the same?

Cheers,
Stellan
