Using Technology at Delmar

Grade 3

Students in Mrs. Barnes' grade three classroom used Palm handhelds to practice math facts with MonkeyByte Math and FreeWrite to write to their online friends in Peru. They had a great time and can't wait to use the Palms again!

Grade 2

Mrs. Andrews' second grade students came to the computer lab to do research on animals for their writing workshop. They visited the Enchanted Learning website where they found lots of good information about animals. See their animal reports on display.

Grade 3

Mrs. Kaiser's grade three students wrote to their online friends in Peru. using FreeWrite on their Palm handhels. The students enjoyed beaming their files to one Palm for syncing.

Grade 5

Mrs. Urban's 5th grade homeroom students used Palm handhelds to practice math skills. They used QuizzlerPro and MonkeyByte Math.

Grade 5

Students in Mrs. Smith's classes use Palm handhelds to strengthen math skills with MonkeyByte Math. They also enjoy typing on their Palm keyboards to practice spelling words in Memo Pad and then printing their papers on our new Palm printer.

Grade 4

Students in Mrs. Blackwell's reading class typed their original Haikus on Palm handhelds using Memo Pad. They enjoyed printing their files on our new Palm printer.
