Second Grade Under Water

Miss Hogan's and Mrs. McQuown's Classes


Ms Hogan's class and Mrs. McQuown's class spent the day under the deep blue sea. The two second grade classes came together to learn about fish and other sea creatures. The children listed facts they already kenw about fish and asked questions about things they wanted to know. The activities for the day included the book The Rainbow Fishby Marcus Pfister, a video about underwater life, constucting a fish mobile, and making an edible fish aquarium.

Lorenzo Wiggins - My favorite part of Fish Day was when I drew an octopus.

Amanda Stubbs - I like where the octopus turned to different colors.

Sasha Charlecon - My favorite part of Fish Day was coloring paper.

Cory - My favorite part of Fish Day was when we cut the fish out.

Sherirta - My favorite part of Fish Day was when we watched the movie.

Rouchon Vann - My favorite part of the Fish Day was the clown.

Kaitlyn Vetra - My favorite part of Fish Day was cutting out fish, crab and octopus.

Chris Justis - My favorite part of Fish Day was the two videos of all kinds of fish.

Detroit Fountain - My favorite part of Fish Day was when we watched the movie.

Makia Brown - My favorite part of Fish Day was making the mobile and coloring the fish.
